Volunteers are needed Tuesday through Saturday, typically between the hours of 10am and 4pm. There are early morning and mid-afternoon opportunities several times per month. Remote positions are available after completing on-site training.

Please note: we do not participate in the Court Community Service program.
Some of the tasks we need help with include:
  • Resource assistance during open hours (client assistance, answering phones, restock and organize)
  • Pet food bank (preparing food for distribution,)
  • Transportation (taking clients/pets to appointments; picking up donations)
  • Outreach (distributing fliers in community, attending community events)
  • Events & Parties (helping at our annual client parties or other events)
  • Wellness clinic (administrative or vet professional)
  • Spay/neuter (administrative)

Based on your skills, interests, and experience, we'll find a role that fits you and your availability. ​

​All volunteers must be friendly, non-judgmental, flexible; able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment; have great attention to detail; be able to follow direction and stay positive; be good communicators; and have an understanding of diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Basic pet knowledge is a plus.
