Jeremy Langham

Picture
A life-long Northeast Ohioan, Jeremy Langham received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Educational Sciences Degree from Kent State University. Jeremy continued his education right up the road at the University of Akron, earning a Master’s Degree in Political Science.

Upon graduation in 2010, Jeremy moved back to Cleveland where, for three years, he operated as the director of employment services at Passages, Inc. working to assist marginalized individuals in attaining financial and family stability through fatherhood development services and gainful employment access. During this time, Jeremy became a founding board member of the EDWINS Restaurant and Culinary Institute board where he served until 2021.

In 2013, Jeremy joined Teach For America and taught second grade for two years on Cleveland's near west side. Upon completion of the TFA program, Jeremy went on to serve as the director of alumni leadership with Teach For America's Northeast Ohio region, working to join together regional TFA alumni to fight educational inequity and inequality through collective impact efforts.

Jeremy went on to return to serve as the Director of Special Projects back at Passages where he spearheaded several initiatives to create more impact for low income families throughout the region, and today, at Passages, he is the Vice President of Innovation and Outreach managing high impact programming, developing strategic partnerships, and funding streams to ensure programmatic successes.

A firm believer in the mission of Neighborhood Pets and fierce animal lover Jeremy also co-founded a vegan food truck called The Benevolent Butcher in 2021 that partnered with and gave back 5% of their profits to area animal welfare organizations including Neighborhood Pets!
