Becca Britton has worked in animal welfare since 2003 and has over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, specializing in community development, arts programming, and nonprofit management. She brings a strong background in marketing, design, event planning, and grant writing to her work.
She founded Friends of the Cleveland Kennel in 2003, serving as its executive director and leading successful rescue efforts, fundraising campaigns, and large-scale community vaccine clinics. In 2016, she launched Neighborhood Pets Outreach and Resource Center, a nonprofit supporting low-income pet owners through trust-based community engagement and accessible resources. Her work is informed by training from the Humane Society’s Pets for Life program and her leadership development through Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management. Becca was named the HSUS Humane Leader of the Year (2022) She has also been featured across national animal welfare platforms through conferences, panel discussions, and online learning events. Becca’s focus as a “big picture thinker” is to create sustainable change by being an advocate for animals and the people who love them. |
