![]() Helping to Keep Families Together is our Mission Sam and Natasha's Story.... Our client, Sam, long time Glenville neighborhood resident. Sam is a US Veteran, and his "Service Dog" is named Natasha. Natasha is Sam's "other half", they are inseparable. Sam was going through a time of hardship, and had to move to Pensacola, Florida. He is lost his home in Cleveland as of June 1, and had no way to get his dog to Florida. Sam was devastated at the idea of having to give up his dog. Neighborhood Pets mission is to keep families together, so we got to work seeking donations to fund our volunteer transporting Natasha 15.5 hours to meet Sam at his new home in FL. Since Sam reached out, we have had Natasha officially certified as a Service Dog, and Sam will have no more red tape to worry about as long as they are together. Special thanks to Gina Lutes from Dogs Unlimited Rescue for securing Natasha's official "Service Dog" status for Sam! Sam calls Natasha the "love of his life". He is extremely grateful beyond words for the efforts made to keep his dog ❤ Thank you for all of you who supported their story! Sam and Natasha are still together, now living in Pensacola Florida thanks to our program, and the community who supports our work! Watch the video of Sam and Natasha being reunited here! |
