Dana Textoris

Board Member

Picture
Dana Textoris began serving as a fundraising volunteer for Neighborhood Pets to help both animals and people. Since then, she has been honored to join the Board of Directors to help increase the organization’s revenues, reach, and community impact.

Dana’s experience is grounded in nonprofit fundraising. She served previously as Associate Director of Development for NARAL Pro-Choice California and Director of Major Gifts for the ACLU of Northern California. Back home in Ohio since 2012, today she is Managing Director of Grants Plus, a national grants consulting firm based in Cleveland that enables nonprofit organizations across the country to gain grant funding.

Dana has long dedicated herself to causes that promote justice and equality for people, but since getting her two beloved dogs, her passion has expanded to include the safety and well-being of animals. To fulfill this personal mission of protecting both animals and people, she has served in numerous volunteer capacities, including as a citizen member of the City of Lakewood Animal Safety and Welfare Advisory Board and as a board member and development chair of FrontLine Service. She lives in Lakewood with her partner Andrew and their pups Nilla and Teagan, and enjoys biking, hiking, boating, and plant-based cooking.
