OUR PHILOSOPHY:
EQUITY FOR ALL: Lack of access to affordable pet care resources is a social justice issue.
We believe all people should have access to affordable resources in order to care for and keep their pet(s), despite their income level.
Pet owners experiencing financial difficulties have traditionally experienced an overall lack of access to pet care resources. The lower cost resources that are available are difficult to access, and navigate once found.
While animal shelters are there to protect homeless animals, most do not act as a resource for owned pet owners in need of assistance.
In part with our mission, Neighborhood Pets believes strongly in being accessible (located within the area of high need) and affordable. It is extremely important to our team that we treat all people with respect, kindness, and non judgement. It is very important to us to be a part of the community we are serving, while building relationships and trust with each and every one of our clients.
Our mantra each day:
"TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER"
