Katie McIverRegistered Vet Technician |
Katie McIver earned her vet tech degree over a decade ago, and has since worked in several high-volume spay and neuter clinics/shelters.
Overall, her experience includes working for non-profits, as well as full-service clinics. But she particularly enjoys applying her skills in the high-volume spay and neuter settings, and working with people and pets living in low-income and underserved communities. Katie is passionate about rescue work - specifically, Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR). Besides finding and actively rescuing animals on her own time - many of whom she ends up keeping - Katie is also extremely involved in fostering. She especially enjoys fostering kittens. In addition to spending time with her many rescue and foster animals, Katie likes to read - particularly, books about history. She also enjoys people-watching, sketch comedy, and stand-up. |
